Our quality control engineer works closely with our shop floor team, to ensure any special instructions are on route cards and customer requirements are being adhered to as the job is run. We ensure all products represent maximum quality and reliability, including cleaning and correct packaging.

Customer requirements are reviewed and reports submitted along with parts, as requested. Any changes or up-issues are managed and implemented. Any issues are promptly investigated and corrective/preventive action implemented. The quality manager works with the production manager to ensure seamless resource planning. CLA Tools has its quality management system assessed and registered to ISO9001:2015 and environmental assessed and registered to ISO14001:2015, both audited annually by BSI. The purpose built inspection facility has temperature control.
Our Brown and Sharpe CMM is calibrated annually by Hexagon and runs PC DMIS software enabling our engineers to inspect complex parts programmed directly from CAD models. Inspection programmes can be created offline to CAD reducing lead times.
CLA can tailor inspection data in line with customers requirements including PPAP.
