Founded in 1974, C.L.A. Tools is a family run business currently in its second generation. From design board through to volume production we work closely with our customers offering support and technical advice to ensure continuous improvement of service.

Our team of highly skilled CAD engineers, programmers, setters and operators, produce quality machined components, from one or two specialist prototype parts to thousands off milled or turned parts per annum.

From 1 or 2 specialist parts produced by CLA’s expert manual millers to 10,000 plus milled or turned parts per annum.

Typical Lead Time?

An estimate of 3-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the parts and the schedule in the machine shop. We will always respond positively to urgent delivery requests.

C.L.A. has always met the stringent demands to comply with M.O.D. standards. All of C.L.A.’s work is 100% traceable with certification from steel suppliers, welding, heat-treatment, plating and coating and various paint specifications.

Thank you to you, and your team for the support on the recent OEM project. Although the lead times and casting design requirements were challenging, CLA Tools again provided excellent support across the project, from initial fixturing, first off trial parts, through to VP build support. This has enabled Alucast Limited to mirror that performance through to our OEM customer and meet their target date aspirations,
which in turn facilitates vehicle build MRD schedules.
